Toilet, Faucet & Valve Installation

Professional installation done right the first time.

Back to all services

New install and replacement of toilets, faucets, shutoff valves, and angle stops. We work with every major brand — Toto, Kohler, Moen, Delta, Hansgrohe — and bring our own torque-controlled tools so the work lasts.

Why install matters as much as the fixture

A $1,200 Toto toilet still leaks if the wax ring is set wrong. A premium kitchen faucet drips at the base if the deck plate isn't sealed properly. We install daily and have seen every common installation mistake — over-torqued plastic nuts, missing supply gaskets, wax rings doubled instead of using an extra-tall flange — and we don't make them.

We also bring the right hardware. Brass supply nuts where the manufacturer ships plastic. Real cone washers. Plumber's putty where the spec calls for silicone and silicone where the spec calls for putty. The fixture you bought lasts as long as the install lets it.

Common installation jobs we do in the Valley

Toilet replacements during a bathroom refresh. We remove the old unit, scrape and reset the flange (often the most overlooked step), set the wax ring, mount the new bowl, attach the tank, level, and torque the nuts gradually so the porcelain doesn't crack. We test for leaks at the base and the supply line before leaving.

Faucet swaps in kitchens with old porcelain sinks. The trick is the basin nut — the old plastic nuts often weld themselves to the deck and require a basin wrench at exactly the right angle. We do this often enough that it's a 20-30 minute job for us; the same task can take a homeowner two trips to the hardware store.

Angle stop replacements. The little chrome valve under the sink that nobody thinks about until it fails. A 30-year-old multi-turn angle stop will often leak when you try to close it for a faucet swap. We replace them with quarter-turn ball-stops that last decades and operate cleanly.

Shower valve replacements. We replace pressure-balancing valves and thermostatic mixers, including converting old two-handle shower setups to modern single-handle valves. Tile work coordinated as needed.

Our process

We confirm the fixture spec before the appointment so we bring the right supplies. On site, we shut off the water, protect floors and cabinetry, and remove the old fixture. We inspect what's underneath — flange condition, supply line age, valve condition — and tell you if anything else should be replaced while it's open.

We install per the manufacturer spec, test under pressure, and clean up. You inspect before we leave. Total time for a standard toilet swap is 60-90 minutes; a kitchen faucet swap is 45-75 minutes.

Pricing guidance

Toilet replacement: $295-$650 plus the fixture. Premium fixtures (Toto Neorest, Kohler Numi, smart toilets) require extra time and run higher. Faucet replacement: $185-$425 plus the fixture. Angle stop replacement: $95-$185 each. Shower valve replacement: $495-$1,200 depending on whether tile work is needed.

Frequently asked questions

Can I supply my own fixtures?
Yes. Many customers buy fixtures online or from a showroom. We install what you supply and warranty our labor; the fixture warranty is between you and the manufacturer.
Do you remove the old fixtures?
Yes. We haul away old toilets, faucets, and packaging at no extra charge.
How long does a typical toilet install take?
60-90 minutes for a straight swap. Add 30-60 minutes if the flange needs to be repaired or replaced (common in homes 30+ years old).
